1952 Kay K-125

Lovingly nicknamed “the Peanut” this holdover from the early days of solid bodied electrics is a real survivor. Originally featuring a hardwired cable this one has been converted for normal cable through a jack on the lower bout. The original cable hole is filled with a dummy jack so you can confuse your friends when they ask “Hey, what’s that thing?”

A nice strong blade pickup and a big neck, these guitars were a favourite of Elmore James and this one is ready for another 72 years of playing.
